Love Me My Alien is a Philadelphia-based indie band born from more than two decades of friendship, musical collaboration, and a shared obsession with great songs.
Justin DiFebbo, Anthony Montesano, and Michael Montesano first started writing together in Justin’s home studio, where Wednesday nights became a regular mix of guitars, keyboards, harmonies, bad jokes, and new ideas. What started casually quickly became something none of them could ignore.
Anthony and Michael - the “Brothers” - have been making music together for years, most notably with Philadelphia rock band Pepper’s Ghost, whose debut album was produced by legendary engineer Andy Johns and produced a Billboard-charting single. Justin has released award-winning music as a solo artist and is also a member of indie collective Summer Fiction.
Together, they’ve developed a sound that blends indie rock, new wave, folk, and soulful ’70s songwriting, anchored by rich melodies and the Brothers’ unmistakable harmonies. Their debut EP, Roll It Back, was independently released in 2023.
Today, Love Me My Alien is experiencing its biggest breakthrough yet. Their 2026 single “Take My Time” has surpassed 500,000 Spotify streams and helped the band reach 100,000+ monthly listeners. The song - about trying to move forward while still carrying the weight of what’s behind you - has found an audience well beyond the band’s Philadelphia roots.
At its heart, Love Me My Alien is still what it was when those Wednesday nights began: three longtime friends getting in a room, chasing a good song, and seeing where it takes them.
